I'm Kalika - The Guy Behind the Drone

I've always been the kind of guy who sees a problem and immediately starts figuring out how to solve it. Give me a challenge, a few tools, and a little room to get creative, and I'm in my element.

Born in India, having lived in Mexico, and with plenty of miles traveled in between, I've learned to adapt, think on my feet, and make things work with whatever I've got. Whether I'm exploring somewhere new, tackling a hands-on project, or figuring out how to do something that doesn't come with an instruction manual, I've always enjoyed finding solutions that aren't immediately obvious.

That same MacGyver mentality is what led me to Your Drone Guy. As a licensed private pilot, my passion for aviation goes well beyond drones. But what I love most about drone technology is its potential to do so much more than capture incredible footage. It's a tool that opens up possibilities, solves real-world problems, and gets things done in ways you might not have considered. From capturing cinematic footage to finding creative solutions for complex commercial projects, I'm always looking for a smarter, safer, and more efficient way to get the job done.

When I'm not flying, you'll probably find me traveling, exploring the outdoors, tinkering with engines, building, or mastering a new hobby.
